She uses vintage photographs\, newspaper clippings\, letters\, and\nexcerpts from secret diaries and personal journals\, to give us a firsthand account of life in those\nearly\, challenging days. In her presentation\, Meier will explain how she went about researching\nthe archives and\, in doing so\, some of the “simply amazing” people she encountered.
